Here's a great album for listening and learning. These are tunes I've learned and loved for years. Comes in a beautiful gatefold card case with an essay, liner notes for each tune, fiddle tunings, and photos. I'm grateful for a wonderful old-time sound from a super backup band. Skilled recording in one space, giving a natural yet clear old-time band sound.

about

This is a collection of fiddle tunes and songs I love and want to see live on. You can just groove with them, or use this album as a learning tool. The tunes are accessible and played at a moderate enough pace that you can understand them. Numerous people have told me this is a good road trip album. So, buckle up and enjoy!

Later he apprenticed to other old-time song masters, fiddlers and banjoists.
He loves sharing what he's learned.
